PENGEMBANGAN KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MENGGUNAKAN METODE KMSLC DAN ELASTICSEARCH PADA LABORATORIUM KOMPUTER FAKULTAS ILMU KOMPUTER UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
Knowledge within the Computer Laboratory of the Faculty of Computer Science, Sriwijaya University, remains dispersed among individuals and have not yet well documented, making it difficult to share and known only to a few. Moreover, the available physical documentation is still incomplete and limited to certain laboratories, which hinders laboratory managers in planning resource needs. This study aims to develop a Knowledge Management System using the KMSLC method and implement Elasticsearch to optimize the retrieval of broad and relevant knowledge. Elasticsearch enables document content search (string matching), supports error-tolerant queries (such as typos and autocomplete), and displays keyword frequency in each document. System testing using precision and recall yielded a precision score of 1 and a recall score of 0.943, indicating high accuracy in retrieving relevant documents. Load testing using Apache JMeter with a 100/10 thread and ramp-up time scenario showed the best performance among all tested scenarios, demonstrating that Elasticsearch performs efficiently and optimally under high request loads. User perception testing with the UEQ-S method resulted in an excellent benchmark rating, indicating that the system is perceived as highly effective both functionally and in terms of user experience.
