Adolescent knowledge about reproductive health is still lacking, namely in Indonesia, around 75% of women have experienced vaginal discharge at least once in their lives. The prevalence of vaginal discharge continues to increase, with 45% of them experiencing vaginal discharge more than once. The impacts caused by vaginal discharge can have negative consequences, such as infertility, endometritis, pelvic inflammation, and salpingitis so adolescent girls must maintain reproductive hygiene. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Checklist Note media in increasing adolescent girls' knowledge about vaginal discharge. The study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 31 female students of SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya aged 12–14 years who had experienced menstruation, selected using the stratified random sampling method. Data were collected through a questionnaire to assess the level of knowledge before and after the intervention. This study used the Shapiro Wilk test and a paired t-test was conducted for the bivariate test. The results showed that there was significant increase in knowledge scores, from an average of 14.87 in the pre-test to 20.39 in the post-test. The p-value of 0.000 showed that there was a significant effect on increasing knowledge. The results of this study showed that the Checklist Note educational media was effective in increasing the understanding of adolescent girls about vaginal discharge. These findings emphasize the importance of educational media innovation in increasing reproductive health literacy among adolescents, as well as the need for ongoing education programs to empower them in maintaining reproductive health and making the right decisions regarding their health.
