This study aims to determine the role of village-owned enterprises in empowering the community through oyster mushroom cultivation in Tanjung Raja Village, Muara Enim Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection. Data collection using interview, observation, and documentation methods with four research subjects. The results obtained in this study are increasing income and community economic development, there are four objectives of establishing BUMDes that can influence increasing income and community economic development, namely increasing the village economy, increasing village original income, improving management of village potential, and becoming the backbone of growth and equity of the village economy. of the four objectives above have been achieved well with the existence of BUMDes income and community economic development to be better Improving the quality of life in Bulang Village, has met seven indicators of quality of life, namely increasing income, decent housing, a healthy environment, social stability, health, education, and employment opportunities Growing the rural economy of Tanjung Raja village, in this economic growth has been running well and is in accordance with the characteristics of economic growth, namely the very rapid population growth rate and per capita product, the development of community productivity, the soaring level of structural growth, and the high level of urbanization.
