The plan and project of The Orthopedic Hospital conducted in Palembang, South Sumatera. This hospital specifically provides accessible health care to patients who suffer from bones or joints injuries. The hospital project carried out by considering the number of bones injuries patients, according to the monthly report of Palembang Health Care Authority, bones injuries rank in the 10th place as the largest number of disease in Palembang. The project of this hospital aims for a grand design of an Orthopedic Specialty Hospital with advanced facility and convenient environment for both physical and psychological recovery process of the patients. Whereas psychological may affect to the physical recovery term of the patients. Therefore, the hospital will essentially be designed with Healing Environment as the theme. Healing environment is a health care facility in form of physical environment that may advance the recovery process or the adapting process of the patients in chronic state with psychological involved. The Healing Environment theme applied by three approaches, those are nature, sense, and psychological.
