DRAMATISME TOKOH POLITIK RAHAYU SARASWATI (Analisis Pentad atas Respon Rahayu di Talk Show Pandji Pragiwaksono: Skakmat Rahayu Saraswati)
This study analyzed Rahayu Saraswati's communication strategy in the Skakmat talk show, which was aired on Pandji Pragiwaksono's YouTube channel. The research employed a qualitative method, with Kenneth Burke's dramatism theory as the primary framework. This theory focused on five pentadic elements-act (action), scene (setting), agent (actor), agency (means or tools), and purpose (goal) to examine how Rahayu constructed and conveyed her political narrative. The findings revealed that the agent and act elements were the dominant components in Rahayu's rhetoric, strengthening her identification with the audience. Through dramatistic analysis, it was found that Rahayu applied the identification strategy to align her vision with the public, create guilt regarding the existing political conditions, and offer redemption through her solutions and political commitments. Her rhetoric not only contained political persuasion but also symbolism that reinforced her image as a politician with integrity. This study contributed to understanding how politicians utilized dramatic elements on digital platforms to respond to and build political legitimacy. These findings also enriched academic discourse on political communication strategies in the digital era. Keywords: Dramatism, Pentad, Rahayu Saraswati, Talk Show
