The Old Age is a time when humans are no longer able to perform activities as well as at a young age, Nursing Home (Werdha I Decrepit) is a place where the elderly live with the purpose of physical and soul re-enabling to fulfill their basic needs both physicallyand spiritually and also socially. Empowerment can be done by l10ld.ing programs or productive activities in order to create prosperity for the elderly. The basic idea for redesigning the Nursing Home Tresna Werdha Teratai using Rainwater Harvesting concept aims to cut the cost of water use for the building itself. With this concept the building is expected lo utilize and recover the collected rainwater to be re-used by the inhabitants. Application of this concept has been designed through the stages of environmental analysis, environmental needs analysis mid appropriate atmosphere analysis. The results of the analysis that has been done i the fom1 of buildings. environment, layout. and interior that is tailored to the needs of the elderly.
