The title of this thesis is "Legal Protection for Women Victims of Crimes of Spreading Obscene Content (Case Study of Decision Number 14/PID.B/2022/PN SKM)." In this research, the author examines the legal protection regulation in Indonesia for women victims of crimes of spreading obscene content as outlined in Decision Number 14/PID.B/2022/PN SKM, and the implementation of legal protection for women victims of crimes of spreading obscene content in the aforementioned decision. Victims of sexual violence have the right to legal protection, including recovery for their mental and psychological condition. The objectives of this research are: 1. To understand the legal protection regulation in Indonesia for women victims of crimes of spreading obscene content as stated in Decision Number 14/PID.B/2022/PN SKM, and 2. To analyze the implementation of legal protection for women victims of crimes of spreading obscene content in Decision Number 14/PID.B/2022/PN SKM. This research utilizes normative legal method and employs statutory approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. Based on the research findings, it is revealed that the legal protection regulation in Indonesia for women victims of crimes of spreading obscene content in that decision is governed by the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP), Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography, Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning ITE, Law Number 31 of 2014 concerning LPSK, and Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning TPKS, as well as the implementation of legal protection for women as victims, which takes the form of repressive legal protection through the prosecution of the defendant under ITE Law Article 45 paragraph (1).
