PERSEPSI ORANG TUA PADA PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI MCKIDS DI MALL RAMAH ANAK DEPOK TOWN CENTER
This study aims to explore parents’ perceptions of the McKids early childhood education program to provide a comprehensive overview of how parents perceive such programs in child-friendly malls. The findings are expected to serve as evaluation material and a basis for improving the quality of nonformal education programs in the future. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included observation and questionnaires distributed to 35 parents who enrolled their children in the McKids program as the research sample. The results show that parents’ perceptions of the McKids program fall into the “very good” category. This is indicated by the average percentage on the perception and evaluation indicators, which reached 98.71%. Parents believe that the McKids program is effective in introducing basic concepts such as colors, numbers, shapes, and letters. Moreover, the program is also considered capable of stimulating children’s social skills, self-expression, and creativity. It can be concluded that the McKids program in child-friendly malls receives a positive response from parents and contributes to the development of early childhood.
