KEANEKARAGAMAN DAN KELIMPAHAN SEMUT PREDATOR DI TAMAN PENDIDIKAN FKIP UNSRI INDRALAYA DAN SUMBANGANNYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
This study aims to determine the diversity and abundance of ants as predators in the FKIP Unsri Indralaya Education Park. This research was conducted in September 2024 - February 2025. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. This study uses a purposive sampling method, namely direct observation and sampling of appropriate samples at the research location. The results of the study showed that the total number of predator ants found was 2450 individuals with 11 types of pseudo-predators. The species found were, among others, Proceratium, Odontoponera, Oecophylla smaragdina, Anoplolepis gracilipes, Tricomyrmex destructor, Lasius Niger, Dinoponera gigantea, Camptonomus sp, Pachycondyla sp, Dolichoderus thoracicus, Tecromimex Albipes. The most predatory ant found was Oechophylla smargadina with a total of 370 individuals. The insect diversity index value is categorized as moderate, which is 2.320. The insect dominance index value is categorized as low, which is 0.103. The highest individual abundance value is Oechophylla smargadina with a value of 0.16 ind/m2. The results of this study will be implemented in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD) for Biology learning for Senior High School class X Independent Curriculum in Phase E on Biodiversity.
