PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GAMIFICATION BERBANTUAN MEDIA GIMKIT TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SMA NEGERI 10 PALEMBANG
Fun learning activities can increase students' learning motivation, one of which is through the application of interactive learning models combined with educational game-based learning media. This study aims to prove the effect of the gamification learning model assisted by gimkit media on the learning motivation of class X students in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. This study is a type of quantitative experimental research with a Quasi Experimental research design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in the study included all class X students of SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The technique used to take samples was purposive sampling so that class X.7 totaling 36 students was obtained as a sample. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique to test the hypothesis used the t-test (Paired Sample T-test) and the results obtained were in the form of a Tcount value ≥ Ttable, namely 14.3 ≥ 1.68957 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. This shows that there is an influence of the gamification learning model assisted by gimkit media on the learning motivation of class X students in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang which is supported by the results of observations during the treatment in the form of students becoming more actively involved and enthusiastic about learning because the gamification learning model assisted by gimkit media has never been applied before. Thus, the use of the gamification learning model assisted by gimkit media is highly recommended for use by teachers, because by increasing student learning motivation it will make it easier for them to achieve learning success.
