PENGARUH MEDIA EDUKASI NUTRI CASE TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP KONSUMSI MINUMAN BERPEMANIS PADA ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR DI KECAMATAN BANYUASIN III
Consumption of sweetened beverages is widely circulated in school environments and tends to have poor nutritional quality. However, the majority of school children do not have enough knowledge in choosing healthy drinks. This study aims to determine the effect of nutrition education with Nutri Case media on the level of knowledge and attitudes about the consumption of sweetened beverages. The design of this study used Quasy Experimental and the Pre-test and Post-test with control group design which is a quantitative study. The sample of this study amounted to 106 respondents consisting of 53 experimental groups and 53 control groups. Data on respondents' knowledge and attitudes about the consumption of sweetened beverages were obtained through Pre-test and Post-test. The analysis test used was the paired sample t-test with the results obtained, namely there was a difference in knowledge scores before and after the intervention in the experimental group (p = 0.000) and in the control group (p = 0.000) then there was a difference in knowledge scores before and after the intervention in the experimental group (p = 0.000) and in the control group (p = 0.000). Then continued with Independent t-test with the results obtained, namely there is a difference in attitude scores between the experimental group (p = 0.000) and the control group (p = 0.016) which means there is a significant difference between groups. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of nutritional education on the level of knowledge and attitudes about the consumption of sweetened drinks in children who use Nutri Case educational media. Through this study, it can be suggested that Nutri Case media can be used as an alternative media for nutritional education about sweetened drinks in elementary school children.
