Urban farming is defined as a way of farming or gardening on limited land, such as in urban areas. Urban farming involves planting activities in and around metropolitan areas. The objectives of this study are as follows 1) To measure the perception of woman farmers on the implementation of urban farming in Ilir Timur 3 District, Palembang City 2) To measure the level of implementation of woman farmers on urban farming in Ilir Timur 3 District, Palembang City 3) To analyze the relationship between perception and the level of implementation of woman farmers on urban farming in Ilir Timur 3 District, Palembang City. This research was conducted in Ilir Timur 3 District, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. This research is a quantitative research with the research method used is the survey and census method. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed using a Likert scale and Spearman rank correlation test. The results of the study are as follows: 1) The perception of female farmers towards urban farming in Ilir Timur 3 District, Palembang City is categorized as high with an average score of 34.83 with an index value of 72.5%. 2) The implementation of urban farming by female farmers in Ilir Timur 3 District, Palembang City is categorized as high with an average score of 30.70 with an index value of 63.9%. 3) The results of the Spearman rank correlation test show that there is a positive relationship between perception and implementation of urban farming by female farmers in Ilir Timur 3 District, Palembang City, with a moderate strength or closeness of 0.527 or 52.7%.
