Lebak Swamp is an agricultural land with potential for rice cultivation, consisting of three typologies: shallow lebak, middle lebak, and deep lebak. Each typology has different water inundation characteristics that affect planting time and farmers' production patterns, ultimately influencing income and the structure of household consumption expenditure. This study aims to: (1) calculate the total household income of lebak swamp rice farmers based on land typology in Sungai Selincah Subdistrict, Kalidoni District, Palembang City, (2) analyze the structure of household consumption expenditure of lebak swamp rice farmers based on land typology, (3) analyze the factors affecting household consumption expenditure of lebak swamp rice farmers. The research was conducted using a survey method with purposive for location selection and proportionated stratified random sampling for selecting 60 rice farmers: 18 from shallow lebak, 30 from middle lebak, and 12 from deep lebak. The results show that the total household income is highest among farmers in middle lebak, followed by those in shallow and deep lebak, with rice farming being the primary source of income in all typologies. The structure of household consumption expenditure indicates that food accounts for the largest share, reflecting that most farmer households are still relatively less prosperous. The highest proportion of food expenditure is found among households in deep lebak, followed by shallow and middle lebak, while the highest proportion of savings is also found in deep lebak, followed by middle and shallow lebak. Based on the results of the multiple linear regression analysis shows that total household income, family size, and mother’s education significantly influence consumption expenditure, while the farmer’s education, age, and the dummy variables for shallow and middle lebak have no significant effect.
