The objectives of this study were: (1) To analyze the level of technical efficiency in rubber production by independent rubber farmers in Mainan Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin Regency; (2) To analyze the level of allocative efficiency in rubber production by independent rubber farmers in Mainan Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin Regency; and (3) To analyze the correlation between socioeconomic factors (age, education level, number of dependents, and farming experience) and technical efficiency in rubber farming in Mainan Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted in Mainan Village in December 2024. The method used was a survey method with a simple random sampling technique, and the sample consisted of 40 farmers. Efficiency analysis was carried out using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method, while the relationship between socioeconomic factors and production efficiency was tested using the Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The results of this study were (1) The average technical efficiency score obtained from the DEA analysis was 0.952, indicating that rubber farming in Mainan Village is not yet technically efficient. (2) On the allocative efficiency side, the average efficiency score was 0.963, indicating that rubber farming is also not yet allocatively efficient. In addition to biological factors, technical efficiency is also influenced by socioeconomic factors. In this study, the socioeconomic factors that showed a positive correlation with technical efficiency were age and farming experience. Meanwhile, the number of dependents and education level showed a negative correlation with technical efficiency in independent rubber farming.
