STRATEGI PENINGKATAN EKSPOR KOMODITAS PANGAN POKOK DI INDONESIA
This study aims to identify Indonesia's primary staple food commodities exported to global markets, analyze their current export conditions, and formulate strategies to enhance their sustainable export performance. The commodities examined include rice, cassava, sweet potatoes, potatoes, and taro. The research utilizes descriptive statistical analysis, Export Product Dynamics (EPD), and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. The findings reveal notable fluctuations in Indonesia's staple food exports during the 2022-2023 period. Cassava and sweet potatoes recorded the highest export values, while potatoes and taro experienced significant declines. EPD analysis places most commodities in the Lost Opportunity and Falling Star categories, indicating low competitiveness in international markets. Key factors influencing export performance include government policy support, product quality, distribution infrastructure, and price competitiveness. Recommended strategies include improving product quality and production capacity, adopting post-harvest technologies, strengthening logistics infrastructure, and enhancing export -oriented policy frameworks. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for stakeholders in developing more effective and competitive export strategies for Indonesia's staple food commodities in the global market.
