PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI PADA MATERI SISTEM PERNAPASAN
This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the science process skills (SPS) of 11th-grade students in the respiratory system topic. This research employs a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design. The study was conducted by implementing the PBL model in class XI.7 at SMAN 1 Palembang, focusing on the respiratory system topic. The instruments used included SPS pre-test and post-test assessments, as well as a questionnaire to measure students' responses to learning using PBL. Data analysis was performed using normality tests, paired T-tests, effect size tests, and N-gain tests. The results indicate that the PBL model has a significant impact on students' SPS. PBL positively influences SPS aspects such as observing, classifying, concluding, predicting, and communicating. This finding is supported by the questionnaire results, which show that students gave an overall very positive response to learning with the PBL model.
