The Importance of Mathematical Problem Solving Skills so that students can understand mathematical concepts deeply and flexibly, so that they can apply their knowledge in various problem-solving situations. One of the learning media that can be applied to train students in solving mathematical problems is animation media which is closely related to interesting Visuals and auditory so that it can motivate students in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to describe problem- solving skills in set material using animation media. This study is a type of descriptive research in which the ability to solve mathematical problems is the variable of this study. The subjects of this study were 7th grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang. Data were collected through two methods, namely written methods and interview methods. The results of the study showed that the ability to solve mathematical problems in 7th grade SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang was in the moderate category with a score of 77.17. By utilizing animated videos in learning mathematics on set material, it can help students in solving or finding solutions to mathematical problems.
