This study aims to produce a product in the form of educational game learning media using the Canva application for writing short story texts material for Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 15 Palembang. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method by applying the Borg and Gall development model, which includes five main stages according to the researcher's needs: research and information collecting, planning, develop preliminary form of product, preliminary testing, and main product revision. The educational game learning media using the Canva application for writing short story texts material for Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 15 Palembang was developed based on the needs analysis of students and teachers. According to the needs analysis, educational game learning media using Canva is required for teaching short story writing in Grade XI at SMA Negeri 15 Palembang. The next step is designing and developing the product, starting with the planning phase. This involves creating material outlines, designing the product by making flowcharts and storyboards, organizing the content, and integrating the design with supporting elements for the educational game. The subsequent stages include product development, expert validation testing, and product revision. The expert validation testing consists of validation by language experts, media experts, and material experts. The results from the language expert validation obtained an overall score of 48 out of a maximum score of 52, with a percentage of 92.31%, categorizing it as highly feasible. The media expert validation received a score of 49 out of a maximum score of 56, with a percentage of 87.5%, also categorized as highly feasible. Lastly, the material expert validation scored 74 out of a maximum score of 76, with a percentage of 97.37%, categorizing it as highly feasible. Based on the results of expert validation, the educational game learning media using the Canva application for writing short story texts is considered highly feasible.
