PENGARUH AIR SULING DAUN DAN BUNGA PACAR CINA (AGLAIA ODORATA LOUR.) SEBAGAI BIO ATRAKTAN DALAM PENGENDALIAN LALAT BUAH (BACTROCERA SPP.)
Pest attacks can result in the loss of horticultural crops by 46-100% or crop failure. Bactrocera spp. is one of the pests that damage fruit. Damage caused by fruit flies will cause losses so that control is needed. Fruit flies are one of the pest groups that are difficult to control. Efforts have been made to control fruit flies using attractants from natural ingredients, namely the Chinese parfume plant. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of distilled water from the Chinese parfume plant leaves and flowers (Aglaia odorata Lour.) in controlling fruit flies (Bactrocera spp.). The study was conducted at the Oil Palm Plantation, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sriwijaya University from February 3 to February 5. Using a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 6 repetitions with a total of 24 experimental units, namely the treatment of distilled water from Chinese parfume plant leaves, distilled water from Chinese parfume plant flowers, petrogenol and negative control with water. The parameters observed were the number of fruit flies trapped, the species of fruit flies trapped, and the sex of the fruit flies trapped. Data analysis used ANOVA with Duncan's further test. The results showed that the attractant from distilled water of the Chinese parfume plant plant (Aglaia odorata Lour.) was able to attract several species of fruit flies, so it has the potential to be an attractant but has a lower attraction than synthetic attractants. Keywords : Bactrocera, Aglaia odorata Lour., Bio Attractant.
