Banyuasin Regency is an area surrounded by factories, including one of the CPO factories in Tanah Mas Village. Based on Sukajadi Community Health Center data, the number of visits with ISPA complaints is quite high with Tanah Mas Subdistrict in second place. ISPA can be caused by several factors, starting from the environment in the house such as Particulate Matter levels of 2.5 and ventilation area, characteristics of toddlers such as History of Exclusive Breastfeeding and History of DPT-HB-Hib Basic Immunization, and Sources of Pollutants in the House such as History of Household Smokers, History Management of Burnt Waste, and Management of Burnt Waste. This study aims to determine the relationship between particulate matter levels of 2.5 in house air and the incidence of acute respiratory infections in toddlers around the PT CPO factory. X Banyuasin Regency in 2023. This research is a quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. The population in this study were all toddlers living in RW 01 Tanah Mas Subdistrict with a total sample of 80 toddlers taken using total sampling technique. Data were analyzed univariate, bivariate and multivariate. Multivariate results show that there is relationship between levels of particulate matter 2.5 in house air and the incidence of acute respiratory infections in children under five after being controlled by the variables of History of Exclusive Breastfeeding, ventilation area, history of using mosquito coils, and Management of Burnt Waste (PR=5,890). It can be concluded that levels of particulate matter 2.5 in house air are significantly related to the incidence of ARI in toddlers. It is recommended that families clean the house more regularly, regularly visit posyandu based on their schedule, and give warnings to families who smoke.
