Culinary is a basic need that cannot be separated from everyday human life. The identity of a city or region in Indonesia is inseparable from its culinary, one of which is Palembang City. Palembang City has a long history of culinary acculturation to tools and materials that develop every period. However, with the increase in tourism in Palembang City at this time, there is no container to accommodate special culinary tourism activities compared to other tours. One of the main factors is the absence of the City Government's plan in realizing special culinary tourism. Through the design of Culinary Museum in Palembang City, it is expected that cultural and culinary tourism can lift the economy and tourism in Palembang City with the presentation of dynamic and interactive dioramas. However, there are at least several cases of theft of museum collections due to unprofessionalism and inadequate facilities. Through security in the form of good management such as protection of museum collections from loss, damage, other threats to visitors and managers are committed to the design of this culinary museum.
