KONFLIK SOSIAL PADA NOVEL CANTIK ITU LUKA KARYA EKA KURNIAWAN KAJIAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN SASTRA DI SMA
This study aims to describe the social conflict in the novel Cantik Itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan, as well as its implications for learning Indonesian in high school. The approach used in this study is the sociology of literature approach. The data of this study are in the form of dialogues and monologues sourced from the novel Cantik Itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The data analysis used is as follows (1) Data reduction (2) Data display (3) Conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis contain 26 data regarding social conflict according to Lewis A. Coser's theory in the novel Cantik Itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan. There are 22 data for realistic conflicts and 3 data for non-realistic conflicts. The results of this study can be used for learning Indonesian at the high school level, phase F class XI, Merdeka Curriculum, namely in the elements of reading and watching, speaking and presenting, students can analyze social themes in fictional prose texts, namely the novels they read.
