The development of digital scrapbook-based learning media in learning to write fantasy story texts aims to 1) describe the needs of teachers and students for digital scrapbook-based learning media, 2) produce a design for digital scrapbook-based learning media in writing fantasy story texts, 3) describe the results of expert validation of digital scrapbook-based learning media in writing fantasy story texts. This study uses the research and development (R&D) research method with the Borg and Gall development research model. The research steps include, 1) research and information collection, 2) planning, 3) product development, 4) expert assessment, 5) product revision. The validation test was carried out by experts consisting of media, language, and material validation. The results of the media validation showed a total value obtained of 42 (87.5%) of the maximum score of 48 or categorized as very valid. In language validation, the total value obtained was 45 (93.75%) of the maximum score of 48 or categorized as very valid. In material validation, the total value obtained was 39 (97.5%) of the maximum score of 40 or categorized as very valid. Based on the results of the validation test conducted with three experts on digital scrapbook-based learning media in learning to write fantasy story texts, it was declared very feasible to be used in class VII of SMP Negeri 39 Palembang.
