The objectives of this study were (1) to describe and illustrate cattle farming in Air Gading Village, Muara Padang Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency, (2) to calculate the income of cattle farming in Air Gading Village, Muara Padang Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency, and (3) to analyse the financial feasibility of cattle farming in Air Gading Village, Muara Padang Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted in Air Gading Village. Purposive sampling was used to determine the location, with the consideration that the location was a cattle farming business that was fattening cattle for sale. The research method used in this study is a case study. The data used in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that (1) the cattle business in Air Gading Village is assistance from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry through the Peat Care Independent Village Programme (DMPG) which received assistance in the form of 10 cows managed by 1 group of farmers consisting of 10 members and each person is responsible for taking care of one cow which later the proceeds from the sale of cows will be divided by 2 where 50% for the purchase of cow seeds 30% for farmers and 20% for cash. (2) The net income of the cattle business in Air Gading Village is Rp 6,896,273 which is the average income of the cattle business in Air Gading Village per year, for the income of each farmer if he succeeds in selling the cattle he raises, he gets Rp 8,000,000 every time he sells his cattle, (3) Based on the Financial Feasibility analysis, the cattle business in Air Gading Village can be said to be feasible. The results of the financial feasibility analysis carried out obtained the NPV value of Rp 45,331,288, IRR of 29%, Gross B/C of 1.05 Net, B/C of 2.87, Payback Period for 2 years and 1 month and in sensitivity analysis with the assumption of a 5% decrease in production, a 9% increase in production costs and a 5% decrease in cattle prices, the cattle business in Air Gading Village is still said to be feasible and is a tolerance limit.
