PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN PMRI PADA KONTEN GEOMETRI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN KONTEKS PAGODA DI PULAU KEMARO UNTUK MENGETAHUI KEMAMPUAN NUMERASI SISWA KELAS VIII
This research aims to determine how students' numeracy skills in eighth grade geometry content through the PMRI approach within the context of the Pagoda on Kemaro Island. The research method employed in this study is a descriptive quantitative and qualitative research. The subjects of this research are 21 students from class VIII.6 of MTs Sabilul Hasanah in the academic year 2024/2025. This research employs data collection techniques in the form of observations, written tests, and interviews. The written test consists of three questions, based on the analysis and discussion of the numeracy ability indicators, it was found that 90,47% of students demonstrated indicator 2, which is the dimension of mathematical knowledge, where students are able to apply concepts in solving problems and are capable of determining problem-solving strategies for the given issues, and 47,61% for indicator 5, which is the dimension of critical orientation, where students are able to analyze in interpreting results and making decisions. In this study, it was found that the students of class VIII.6 MTs Sabilul Hasanah are categorized as high, with an average class score of 80.31 for numeracy skills in solving test problem questions on geometry content using the PMRI approach contextualized with the Pagoda in Kemaro Island.
