WILLINGNESS TO PAY PETANI TERHADAP TEKNOLOGI USAHATANI PADI PADA LAHAN IRIGASI DI DESA SUMBER TANI, BUAY MADANG TIMUR, OKU TIMUR
This study aims to analyze the use of agricultural technology in rice farming in Sumber Tani Village, Buay Madang Timur District, OKU Timur Regency, to determine farmers' Willingness to Pay (WTP) for rice farming technology on irrigated land, and to identify the factors influencing their WTP. The data used in this study include primary data obtained through interviews and questionnaires, as well as secondary data from relevant institutions. The analytical methods used are descriptive analysis to examine the adoption patterns of agricultural technology, the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) to measure WTP, and multiple linear regression analysis to identify the factors affecting farmers' WTP. The results show that agricultural technologies such as Jhonder, Hand Tractors, and Combine Harvesters have been adopted by farmers in their rice farming activities. The WTP analysis reveals that most farmers are willing to pay a certain amount for renting agricultural technology, with their willingness influenced by factors such as age, farming experience, education level, and land size. These findings can serve as a basis for policymakers and stakeholders in formulating strategies to increase the adoption of agricultural technology to improve production efficiency and farmers' welfare.
