Palm oil has very high potential with quite large demand nationally. Increasing the productivity of independent smallholder oil palm has an impact on household income. Household income has an impact on household expenditure which can measure the level of farmer welfare. This research will be conducted in Petaling Jaya Village, Mendo Barat District, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, data collection will be conducted in December 2024. The research method used is the survey method, the sampling method in this study is simple random sampling. The number of respondents in this study was 41 independent oil palm farmers. The data was analyzed using tabulation and then calculated mathematically using Microsoft Excel software and explained descriptively. The results of the study show that (1) the household income of independent oil palm farmers is dominated by oil palm farming businesses amounting to IDR 43,788,085/year or 48 percent, in the non-oil palm sector it is IDR 20,150,000/year or 22 percent and income outside agriculture contributes IDR 26,705,455 or 30 percent of the total household income. Household expenditure of oil palm farmers, expenditure on food is IDR 18,252,878/year or recorded at 58.9 percent and for non-food is IDR 12,718,732/year or 41.1 percent of total household expenditure, (2) for the level of welfare of independent oil palm farmers when viewed using the household income exchange rate for oil palm farmers, it has an average value of 2.98, which means that independent oil palm farmer households in Petaling Jaya Village are in the prosperous category, (3) SWOT quadrant analysis shows that independent oil palm farmers in Petaling Jaya Village are in quadrant I, which supports the implementation of an aggressive strategy.
