PERAN SELF-EFFICACY TERHADAP WORK READINESS PADA MAHASISWA MAGANG KAMPUS MERDEKA (MBKM)
This study aims to determine the role of self-efficacy on work readiness in Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) student internship. The hypothesis is that there is a role of self-efficacy on work readiness. The population of this study is of Sriwijaya University’s students. The sample size consist of 193 students and 51 students for the trial test. The sampling technique used in this study is random sampling based on population data whose number already known. The measurement tool for assessing work readiness is a scale developed by researcher based on the aspects proposed by Caballero, Walker, and Fuller-Tyszkiewicz (2011). The self-efficacy variable was measured using a scale developed by the researcher based on Bandura’s theory (1997). Data analysis in this study used a simple regression method. The results of the simple regression analysis between self-efficacy and work readiness show an R square value of 0,934 and a significance value of 0,000 (p < 0,05). This indicates that self-efficacy has a significant role in work readiness. Therefore, the hypothesis proposed in this study can be accepted.
