The agricultural sector plays a crucial role in the overall national economy because many Indonesians support their livelihoods by working in the agricultural sector. The agricultural sector consists of food crops, plantations, forestry, fisheries, and livestock. The plantation sector is one of the sub-sectors that is actively pursued. One of the crops in the plantation sub-sector that is widely cultivated is rubber and oil palm. Rubber plantations still dominate in Indonesia. However, with the development of oil palm plantations, the economic conditions of its farmers have improved compared to the lives of rubber farmers. On average, the population in Krani Jaya Village earns a living in the agricultural sector, especially in the plantation sub-sector. Currently, farmers in Krani Jaya Village are converting their land from rubber to oil palm to achieve better income. This research aims to identify the conversion patterns of rubber farmers in transforming rubber land into oil palm, analyze the profit comparison between rubber and oil palm farming, and identify the factors causing rubber farmers to convert their crops to oil palm in Krani Jaya Village. This research was conducted in Krani Jaya Village, Nibung District, North Musi Rawas Regency. The sampling method used in this research was proportional stratified random sampling with a total sample of 45 farmers, consisting of 15 farmers who did not convert their land and 30 who converted their land. Data collection methods included primary and secondary data. The results of this study, using a descriptive method, show that farmers commonly follow an overall conversion pattern. Meanwhile, the logistic binary regression method indicates that two variables influence farmers' decisions to convert their land, namely the age and size of rubber plants, and income. There are differences in profits between rubber and oil palm farming using Net Present Value (NPV) calculations.
