ANALISIS PERAN INKLUSI KEUANGAN TERHADAP PENURUNAN EMISI CO2 DI SOUTHEAST ASIA
Financial inclusion is one of the driving factors in achieving the Sustainable Development Goal's objectives. It can facilitate access to funds and credit for individuals, small businesses and sustainable projects. This study aims to examine the relationship between financial inclusion and CO2 emission reduction in Southeast Asia. The data used is quantitative with secondary data for the period 2012 to 2021 using panel data regression analysis method with Fixed Effect model. The results show that financial inclusion does not play a role in reducing CO2 emissions in Southeast Asia. Increased access to finance will encourage people to buy goods that are not environmentally friendly, especially in providing access to low-cost credit, so that there will be an increase in consumption patterns. Therefore, there is a need to transition to green energy and increase awareness of green financing instruments. Keywords: Financial Inclusion, Carbon Dioxide Emissions
