MANAJEMEN ASET KENDARAAN DINAS OPERASIONAL OLEH BADAN PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN DAN ASET DAERAH KOTA PALEMBANG
The purpose of this research is to analyze the asset management of operational service vehicles in the Palembang City Government managed by the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Palembang City. This research departs from the problems that are still found in the process of inventorying, securing, and monitoring and controlling operational service vehicle assets. This research uses a qualitative approach with the concept of Asset Management Flow by Siregar (2004), which includes five main aspects: Asset Inventory, Legal Audit, Asset Valuation, Asset Optimization, and Asset Supervision and Control. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results show that the management of operational service vehicle assets still faces coordination challenges between BPKAD as the manager and SKPD as the asset user. Therefore, increased synergy and coordination mechanisms between agencies are needed to optimize the utilization and control of regional assets.
