This study aims to describe work stress in online shop couriers in Palembang. The population in this study were online shop couriers working in Palembang. The number of samples in this study was 154 online shop couriers with a trial sample of 66 people. The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling. This study used one measuring instrument, namely a work stress scale that was compiled based on indicators of role conflict, role ambiguity, role overload - quantitative, role overload - qualitative, responsibility for people, and career development from Ivancevich and Matteson (1980). The results of the study showed that work stress in online shop couriers in Palembang was in the moderate category. Work stress in online shop couriers in Palembang was influenced by work duration. Researchers also found that 3 indicators that had an influence on work stress in online shop couriers in Palembang were role conflict, career development, and role overload – qualitative
