PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN PAKCOY (Brassica rapa L.) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN BIOSTIMULAN MIKROALGA (Chorella vulgaris) DAN SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
This study aims to determine the effect of the microalga Chlorella vulgaris as a biostimulant on the growth of Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L). The research was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with seven treatments and four replications. The Chlorella vulgaris biostimulant used came from Intact Cells (IC) and Dry Intact Cells (DIC) at different concentrations: P0 (Control/without biostimulant), P1 (1 g/L IC), P2 (3 g/L IC), P3 (5 g/L IC), P4 (1 g/L DIC), P5 (3 g/L DIC), and P6 (5 g/L DIC). The biostimulants were applied by soil wetting and foliar spraying. Data analysis was performed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANNOVA), followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that biostimulant application significantly enhanced the growth of Pakcoy plants compared to the control. The best treatment was 5 g/L Intact Cells (IC), with an average of 19.5 leaves, 41.4 g shoot fresh weight, 0.93 g root fresh weight, 4.19 g shoot dry weight, and 0.57 g root dry weight. In conclusion, Chlorella vulgaris biostimulants have a significant effect on Pakcoy plant growth. The findings were incorporated into Student Worksheets (LKPD) for Grade XII in Phase F of the Independent Learning Curriculum, covering external and internal factors influencing plant growth and development.
