This study aims to describe the role of youth in the development of Belanting River Tubing tourism in Ulu Ogan District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This tourism is a nature-based adventure tourism that has great potential in supporting local economic growth and environmental conservation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The main focus of this study is the role of youth in the management and development of tourism based on the 4A elements: Attraction (tourist attraction), Amenities (facilities), Accessibility (Accessibility) and Ancillary (institutions). The results of the study show that youth have a strategic role in the management and development of tourism, both as tour guides, promotion managers through social media, environmental activity implementers, and local economic actors. The role of youth is divided into three categories, namely active, participatory, and passive roles. Although there are still challenges such as environmental pollution, limited infrastructure, and lack of community participation, the role of youth has proven to be a bridge between tourism development and community empowerment. The role of youth is key to the sustainability and improvement of the quality of Belanting River Tubing tourism.
