PENGARUH PENYINARAN MENGGUNAKAN LAMPU LED UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERTUMBUHAN DAN PENAMPILAN TANAMAN AGLONEMA VARIETAS RED KOCHIN
This study aims to improve the growth and appearance of Aglonema Red Kochin varieties with the application LED lights. This research was conducted using a plastic house made in the yard of a house on Jalan Mentawai, Prabumulih City, South Sumatra Province. The research implementation time began in July to September 2023. The research materials were arranged following the rules of a nested design consisting of three treatments and three replications. The treatments consisted of Planting not using LED light irradiation (PO), Planting using red-blue LED light irradiation (P1), and Planting using white LED light irradiation (P2). The data obtained were statistically analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Furthermore, to see the difference between treatments, further tests were carried out using the least significant difference (BNT) test method at the 5% test level. The results of this study showed that the planting treatment using red-blue LED light irradiation increased the growth of stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf length, and petiole diameter better than planting using white LED light irradiation and planting without LED light irradiation. The planting treatment using white LED lighting increases the growth of plant height, leaf width, and petiole length better than the planting treatment using red and blue LED lighting and planting without LED lighting. Irradiation using coloured LED lights affects the visual quality grade and visual colour grade. In this study, it can be concluded that irradiation using LED lights influences Aglonema plants of the Red Kochin variety.
