The application of organic fertilizer is crucial for California Papaya seedlings (Carica papaya L.) because organic fertilizers offer advantages over inorganic ones. They are more environmentally friendly and safer for long-term application in the growing medium. One type of fertilizer that can be utilized is Moringa Oleifera leaf organic fertilizer. Moringa leaf extract contains cytokinin hormones that stimulate the growth and development of plants. This research aims to determine the most effective concentration of Moringa Oleifera leaf organic fertilizer treatment on the growth of California Papaya seedlings (Carica papaya L.). The study was conducted in Tanjung Pering Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province, precisely at coordinates 3°14'25.4"S 104°38'11.9"E. The research was carried out from August to September 2023. The method employed in this research was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications. The concentrations of Moringa Oleifera leaf organic fertilizer were as follows: P0: 0% concentration (300 ml water without Moringa Oleifera leaf organic fertilizer), P1: 5% concentration (15 ml Moringa Oleifera leaf organic fertilizer + 300 ml water), P2: 10% concentration (30 ml Moringa Oleifera leaf organic fertilizer + 300 ml water), P3: 15% concentration (45 ml Moringa Oleifera leaf organic fertilizer + 300 ml water). The observed variables included plant height, leaf count, stem diameter, root length, leaf greenness level, stem fresh weight, leaf fresh weight, root fresh weight, stem dry weight, leaf dry weight, and root dry weight. The results indicated that applying a 10% fertilizer dose (30 ml Moringa Oleifera leaf organic fertilizer/300 ml water) provided the best response in enhancing the growth of California Papaya seedlings compared to other doses of Moringa Oleifera leaf organic fertilizer.
