Background: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is one of the major health problems in the world due to the high number of sufferers and deaths due to CKD. In children with end-stage CKD, permanent kidney damage requires partial replacement therapy for renal excretory function, such as hemodialysis. Children who receive hemodialysis procedures often experience sleep cycle disorders. One form of non-pharmacological therapy that can be applied to overcome sleep pattern disorders is aromatherapy with the inhalation method. Objective: To describe the results of pediatric nursing practice that focuses on nursing care for children with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and is in accordance with evidence-based practice reviews. Method: The method used is a descriptive case study approach in three patients managed by Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) with sleep pattern disorders. Results: The results of the study showed that 7 nursing problems were found in the three patients managed including sleep pattern disorders, hypervolemia, acute pain, decreased cardiac output, risk of ineffective renal perfusion, risk of infection, and risk of nutritional deficit with the main nursing problem being sleep pattern disorders The results of the evaluation of sleep pattern disorders in the three patients managed after being given aromatherapy with the inhalation method for 3 consecutive days showed an increase in sleep quality as measured using a sleep quality questionnaire Conclusion: The application of lavender aromatherapy as a non-pharmacological therapy has an effect on improving sleep quality in children with sleep pattern disorders, so it can be concluded that the application of lavender aromatherapy with the Inhalation method is effective in overcoming sleep pattern disorders in children.
