TRANSPARANSI DALAM PELAYANAN PUBLIK (STUDI PEMBAYARAN PAJAK KENDARAAN BERMOTOR DI KANTOR SAMSAT OGAN ILIR 1 BAPENDA SUMATERA SELATAN)
Transparency in public services is a fundamental aspect of increasing public trust in the government. This study aims to analyze the level of transparency in motor vehicle tax payment services at the Samsat Ogan Ilir 1 Bapenda South Sumatra office. This research employs a qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and relevant document studies. The findings indicate that Samsat Ogan Ilir 1 has implemented transparency principles by providing open access to information related to tax payment procedures, administrative requirements, costs, and service duration. The study concludes that although transparency has been applied, there is still room for improvement, particularly in service digitalization, increased accessibility of information, and administrative efficiency to enhance taxpayer satisfaction and trust in the motor vehicle taxation system.
