ANALISIS KOMPETENSI PEGAWAI DI DINAS PENANAMAN MODAL DAN PELAYANAN TERPADU SATU PINTU KOTA PALEMBANG
This research is titled “Analysis of Employee Competence at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) of Palembang City.” The purpose of this study is to describe the competence of employees within the institution using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research focuses on the theory of Spencer and Spencer, which includes five dimensions of competence: motive, trait, self-concept, knowledge, and skill. Data collection techniques involved in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that, in general, employees have fairly good competencies, especially in terms of role understanding, technical knowledge, and motivation in carrying out their duties. However, several weaknesses were identified, such as limited skill mastery, lack of advanced training, and low training allocation. The conclusion of this study suggests that the competence of employees at DPMPTSP Palembang City needs to be continuously improved, particularly through enhanced training, human resource development, and managerial support to strengthen employee competence.
