The existence of the Cinta Manis Sugar Factory had impacted the surrounding community, influencing both community perception and the level of welfare. The objectives of this research were (1) to analyze the perceptions of the people of Talang Tengah Darat Village, Lubuk Keliat District regarding the existence of the Cinta Manis Sugar Factory. (2) to analyze the level of welfare of the people of Talang Tengah Darat Village regarding the existence of the Cinta Manis Sugar Factory. (3) Analyze the relationship between community perceptions of the existence of the Cinta Manis Sugar Factory and the welfare of the community in Talang Tengah Darat Village, Lubuk Keliat District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Talang Tengah Darat Village, Lubuk Keliat District, Ogan Ilir Regency in November 2023. Determining the research location was carried out purposively. The research method used the survey method. The sampling method in this research used disproportionate random sampling, namely 40 people consisting of 20 people who worked at the Cinta Manis Sugar Factory and 20 people who did not work at the Cinta Manis Sugar Factory. The data obtained in this research is in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data processing used analysis Likert Scale, and Spearman Rank Correlation analysis. The research results show that the average perception of people who work at the Cinta Manis Sugar Factory is classified as very positive and the average perception of people who do not work at the Cinta Manis Sugar Factory was classified as positive. The level of welfare of the people of Talang Tengah Darat Village, both those who work and those who do not work at the Cinta Manis Sugar Factory, is relatively high. Community perception is related to the welfare of the people of Talang Tengah Land Village. Indicators of community perception, namely infrastructure, environment, social relations and employment, had a real relationship with community welfare. However, it was only an indicator of economic opportunity that had no relationship with community welfare.
