This research aims to determine differences in perceptions between levels of students regarding the world of work in the field of education and students' interest in becoming teaching personnel. This type of research is quantitative. The research population is students of FKIP Mechanical Engineering Education Class 2020-2023. The sampling technique in this study used proportionate stratified random sampling with a total of 168 samples. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive analysis, Kruskal-Wallis, Mann-Whitney nonparametric analysis and Spearman rank correlation analysis.
