ANALISIS SINTESIS NANOSILIKA BERBAHAN DASAR FLY ASH MENGGUNAKAN METODE SOL-GEL DENGAN VARIASI RASIO METANOL DAN PREKURSOR
Nanosilica is a nano-sized silica that ranges from 1-100 nm and has a function to increase the compressive strength of concrete. Nanosilica can be produced by synthesizing fly ash. The material used in this research is fly ash. This study uses a variation of the ratio between mentanol : precursor, namely 23: 1, 30 : 1, and 37: 1 in units (ml). In this study using microstructure testing to analyze the extraction results in the form of X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). From these results it can be concluded that the greater the amount of precursor used, the smaller the nano size produced. Based on the test, it was found that a good ratio in the synthesis process was a ratio of 37: 1 produces an average crystal size of 26.48 nm and at a ratio of 37: 1 crystalline as much as 3.43% and amorphous as much as 96.56%, and the highest pure silica content in the third ratio of 37: 1 by ±59%.
