PERBANDINGAN LAJU INFILTRASI PADA BERBAGAI TIPE HABITUS TUMBUHAN DI TAMAN PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA DAN SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
This research aims to determine the infiltration rate and infiltration capacity in various types of plant habitus and its correlation with environmental factors including soil texture, soil moisture content, soil moisture and soil temperature in FKIP Education Park, Sriwijaya University. The research was conducted in December 2024-January 2025. The method used was descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was done by testing the infiltration rate using a double ring infiltrometer. The data obtained was then analyzed quantitatively using Horton's equation. The results clearly showed that there were differences in infiltration rates in each habitus of herbs, shrubs, trees and land without plant cover. The highest to lowest infiltration capacity sequentially occurs in tree habitus is 148.76 cm/hour, shrubs 67.03 cm/hour and herbaceous 36.03 cm/hour categorized as very fast, while infiltration capacity on land without plant cover is 19.76 cm/hour categorized as fast. According to the research that has been done, it can be concluded that each plant habitus has a different infiltration rate and infiltration capacity supported by environmental factors such as soil moisture content, soil texture, soil temperature, soil moisture to soil pH. The results of the research are used as a source of information for learning high school biology in the form of LKPD which encourages students to be able to understand and build an attitude of environmental care.
