PERANCANGAN ALAT PENYORTIR BUAH TOMAT BERDASARKAN WARNA BERBASIS MIKROKONTROLER ARDUINO UNO DAN SENSOR WARNA
Sorting system is a process of separating goods with information based on certain characteristics. One of the crucial sorting parameters is color, for example sorting tomatoes based on ripeness. Many obstacles encountered are that sorting is still done manually. This study aims to overcome these problems by designing a tomato sorter based on color. This system combines Arduino uno R3, TCS3200 type color sensor, servo motor, DC motor, and conveyor, all components are mounted on a frame made of 3mm acrylic. The TCS3200 color sensor functions as a sample color sensor. The results of the sensor test show the sensitivity of the sensor in detecting. The results of the overall test of the sorter showed an accuracy of 98.67% at a distance of 1cm to 2.5cm. This system is expected to facilitate sorting tomatoes efficiently and effectively.
