OPTIMALISASI EFEKTIVITAS KERJA ALAT LOADER LHD CAT R2900 DAN TRUCK CAT AD60 UNTUK MENUNJANG KETERCAPAIAN TARGET HORIZONTAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN DI TAMBANG BAWAH TANAH UPPER-KL (KUCING LIAR) PT FREEPORT INDONESIA, PAPUA TENGAH
PT Freeport Indonesia, operating in Mimika Regency, Central Papua, faces challenges in achieving its horizontal development plan targets, with an average achievement rate of only 61.48% during the period from January to July 2024. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the productivity of loading and hauling equipment, as well as to plan the equipment requirements needed to meet production targets. The data used includes cycle time, travel distance, working hours, delay times, and other supporting data. The research methodology involves analyzing productivity factors and calculating equipment needs. The results show that the average productivity of the CAT LHD R2900 loading equipment and CAT AD60 hauling equipment before optimization was 115.06 LCM/hour and 9.33 LCM/hour, respectively. After optimization, there was an increase in productivity of 43.69% for loading equipment and 43.68% for hauling equipment, with new productivity rates of 165.32 LCM/hour and 13.41 LCM/hour, respectively. This optimization also reduced the hauling equipment requirements per heading, with a reduction of one unit for each heading, except for heading KL 711, which still requires two units. These findings indicate that optimization efforts can enhance productivity and efficiency in equipment usage during the production process.
