PENGARUH WOODEN NUMBER BOARD TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL LAMBANG BILANGAN ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN DI TK NEGERI SATU ATAP KERINJING
This study aims to determine the effect of using a wooden number board on the ability to recognize number symbols among children aged 4–5 years at TK Negeri Satu Atap Kerinjing. This research employed a quantitative pre-experimental method with a one-shot case study design. The sample consisted of 10 Class A students, selected using a saturated sampling technique. The results showed an average posttest score of 75. Data analysis using a one-sample test revealed that the calculated t-value (t_calculated = 4.56) was greater than the critical t-value (t_table= 2.26), indicating that H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. Based on the hypothesis testing results, it can be concluded that the wooden number board has an effect on the ability to recognize number symbols among children aged 4–5 years at TK Negeri Satu Atap Kerinjing. This is supported by the fact that 8 out of 10 children fell into the "Very Well Developed" (VWD) category, while the remaining 2 were in the "Developing as Expected" (DAS) category. In addition, this learning medium also positively influenced the development of children's fine motor and socio-emotional skills.
