UJI KINERJA TUNGKU PENGERING MOBILE MENGGUNAKAN BAHAN BAKAR BIOMASSA SERBUK
This research aims to determine the performance of a sawdust-fueled mobile biomass drying furnace. This research was conducted from September to December 2023, Soil and Water Engineering Laboratory, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The data obtained from this research used experimental methods and presented the data descriptively. The treatments used were feeder rotation speeds of 35 rpm, 30 rpm and 25 rpm. Repetition was carried out 2 times for each treatment and there were 4 parameters used in this research, namely temperature distribution, fuel consumption rate, furnace efficiency and energy balance. Based on the research that has been carried out, the temperature results obtained through the fan are in the range of 40℃ to 46℃, this temperature is suitable for drying grain, the highest value of all parameters is an average fuel consumption rate of 5,475 kg/hour, an average furnace efficiency of 45 .74% and the lowest result is a fuel consumption rate of 3.6 kg/hour, a furnace efficiency of 24.14%. The energy that entered the drying chamber (Qnet) in the first repetition was the feed rotation speed of 35 rpm 152,435 kJ/kg, the feed rotation speed of 30 rpm was 115,856 kJ/kg, the feed rotation speed of 25 rpm was 110,144 kJ/kg. The energy that enters the drying chamber (Qnet) in the second repetition is that the feed rotation speed is 35 rpm 173,686 kJ/kg, the feed rotation speed is 30 rpm 78,818 kJ/kg, the feed rotation speed is 25 rpm 72,949 kJ/kg
