PENGARUH VARIASI ROOT GAP DAN POLA PENGELASAN PADA KAMPUH V POSISI 1G TERHADAP UJI BENDING BAJA ST 37 MENGGUNAKAN MESIN LAS SMAW
The purpose of this study is to know how a variety of root gaps and welding patterns in 1G position V kampuh affect using a small welding machine against bending testing. Research methods use the quantitative method with the basic or pure type of research because it presents Numbers and graphs to the test results. For results and conclusions on the study, each specimen given a variety of root gap and welding patterns is then continued with bending testing to get different results. The first specimen, with a 2mm root gap variation and a circular welding pattern with a bending weight of 126,52 kgf. Next up is the second specimen with a 4-millimeter variation of root gap and a circular welding pattern with a bending weight of 109,37 kgf. Next, the third specimen, two with a variety of 2mm root gap and a zigzagging las with a bending weight of 107,22 kgf. And the last of the fourth specimen, with a 4-millimeter variety of root gap and a zigzagging las with a bending weight of 98,64 kgf. The conclusion of giving a root gap as well asa different welding on each specimen will improve the results of the bending test with the value of a different bending force.
