This research aims to identify the learning needs of students at the Genlita Literacy Barn (Generation of Literacy Ta'at Al-Qur'an) in Lorok Pakjo, Palembang City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques through questionnaires given to 35 respondents. The main focus of this research is on five aspects of learning needs, namely learning needs, hobbies and recreation, religion, general knowledge, self-appearance and new events. The results of the study show that the learning needs of students are classified as very high (83%) In detail, the most prominent learning needs are in the indicators of general knowledge (85%) with very high information, religious learning needs (84%) with very high information, new event learning needs (83%) with very high information, hobby and leisure learning needs (81%) with high information, and self-appearance learning needs (80%) with information tall. From these results, it can be concluded that the learning needs of Genlita students are very high. In addition, the study found that factors such as age, family background, and personal interests play an important role in determining the type of learning needs felt by students. Based on this, this study suggests the need to provide facilities that support learning activities, training for volunteers to improve their ability to teach and accompany children, in addition, comfortable learning spaces and structured learning programs to meet the learning needs of students. This research is expected to contribute to increasing the effectiveness of the learning program at the Genlita Literacy Barn and have a greater positive impact on the development of children's education in Lorok Pakjo, Palembang City.
