Changes in lifestyle and dietary patterns due to increasing societal affluence have been associated with a rise in the consumption of dietary supplements, particularly among individuals engaged in fitness activities such as fitness members. However, the frequency of supplement consumption may vary between individuals. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitude with dietary supplement consumption behavior among fitness members at Crescere Studio and Studio 168 in Palembang City. A quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. A total of 98 respondents were selected using the total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaire distribution and were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that the majority of respondents (71.4%) consumed dietary supplements. However, among this group, most consumed them infrequently, defined as less than three times per week. Bivariate analysis revealed that no significant relationship was found between knowledge and supplement consumption behavior (p = 0.870), nor between attitude and supplement consumption behavior (p = 0.915). It was concluded that although most fitness members had good knowledge and positive attitudes regarding dietary supplements, these factors did not directly influence consumption behavior, particularly in terms of frequency. This indicates that other factors may play a more prominent role in determining supplement consumption behavior. It is suggested that future researchers explore the role of natural foods in supporting specific nutritional needs of fitness members, such as protein intake for muscle building or carbohydrates for energy. In addition, it is recommended that fitness members at Crescere Studio and Studio 168 are advised to prioritize natural foods to meet their nutritional needs, maintain proper hydration by drinking water, and seek consultation with a nutritionist if they have specific goals before deciding to consume dietary supplements.
